Russ Ray III is Founder of R-squared Advisor Partners, a Veteran-owned Independent Advisory practice based in Dallas / Fort Worth; Russ is married to Dr. Dee Ray and father two grown men, professionals in their own right, Elijah in Albuquerque and Noah in Austin. Russ is originally from Nashville, TN, born at Vanderbilt Hospital and later actually graduating from Vanderbilt University; Beyond a direct passion for helping clients achieve financial confidence and independence, Russ has a deep compulsion to give back to society via philanthropic interests which include protecting women and children from domestic violence, helping children in need, combatting hunger in our communities, and interests that benefit our first responders, our veterans and their families. Russ was involved back in the day in liberating Kuwait during Desert Shield / Desert Storm, receiving a Navy Achievement Medal for work in sea-based minesweeping operations, and later in United Nations relief efforts inside the African nation of Somalia. Today, Russ attributes many of his founding principals in dealing with clients and markets to those early days of military service as he now serves clients and business owners across the country. To this day, collaboration with other professionals in professions the support and add to his work often include miliary veterans that share common values and experiences in life.
